The Cantabria Group was founded in 1981 by Jamie and Ron Main.  Today the Group is still owned by the Main Family who along with a dedicated team of caring professionals are actively involved with the day to day operation of the group.  Across the four facilities The Cantabria Group care for 350 residents and employ 350 staff, Amazing! We have one staff member for each resident.  We also have a further 112 people living independently in Retirement Units.

Our Facilities offer combinations of Rest Home and Hospital care, Senior Day & Respite Care and Independent Retirement Living options in safe and secure Units and Apartments.

The Cantabria Group offers a unique buy back guarantee on our Units and Apartments. Unlike other facilities where you have to wait until your unit has been resold before receiving your settlement, we guarantee to refund the agreed “buy back” price within six months if your unit is not sold and settled prior
